Artist Russell Frantom fakes his death. October 2025

So, yes I faked my death and got away with it for two weeks until the cops showed up. Id still love to have that body cam footage; But all I ever did myself was have AI write the obituary and then it went viral in a reddit thread. There was a find a grave that someone made but sadly has since been removed.. Anyways, I didnt think anyone cared about me.. But, I read so many kind and understanding and sympathetic things.. like, it is something I never ever expected to be able to do.. It is surreal to read the things people say about you after you die.. And to watch how people act. Someone who’s related to me supposedly ended up in epworth over it.. my good friends were looking up local death records.. like, of course im proud of this.. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity for me, as a creative, to experience something like this.. a lot of people believed it.
