Train Accident Painting by Russell Frantom (I did not fake it)

Artist Russell Frantom on December 27th 2025 took a small sample of actual human blood from the real scene of a death by train accident in the town he was living in at the time. It immediately caused controversy, mainly on his facebook page (Russell Frantom) , as the artist was subsequently banished from the local art scene of South Bend IN. Completely over it. Russell ended up splashing what he collected on a large piece of paper, letting it dry and then later painting a human skull and train painting around the blood with inks and other media, the painting that he titled “going off the rails on this crazy train” (seen below) 2025 mixed media by Russell Frantom.
